Paius, -Tune 20. A disastrous cyclone visited Paris and the suburbs.
Although it lasted only ten seconds it caused enormous destruction and great loss of life. Many houses and factories were wrecked.
The force of the wind was so strong that it bodily overturned carriages. Twenty persons were killed and eighty injured.
