Auckland, This day,
The weather is beautifully fine, and promises to continue so. It is anticipated that the record reign illuminations will be the most brilliant spectacle ever seen in Auckland. Christchurch, This day. The weather to-day is overcast and heavy clouds are rolling up from the south-west. A large number of visitors are in town. Kaiapoi and Lyttelton are celebrating the Jubilee to-day so as not to clash with the Christchurch festivites to-morrow. PiNEiMN, This day. There was a heavy frost last night and there is every prospect of tine weather for to-morrow. The town is filled with visitors, and all available accommodation is taken up. The railway tratlic is abnormal. iNVEKCAiuiU.i., This day. There is lovely weather and everything promises well for to morrow's celebrations. Special services were conducted in all the churches yesterday, and a church parade was held in which old soldiers and ex-volunteers took part. The theatre was packed on Saturday, when food and clothing were distributed to the poor.
