Hokitika Supreme Court.

[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Hokitika, This Day. The Supreme Court sessions opened this morning before His Honor Judge Denniston. The criminal calendar is short, but there are several important civil cases. In the case Regina v. Hill, murder, the Grand Jury threw out the bill; but a true bill was found on the charge of concealment of birth. His Honor, however, on the depositions, directed the jury to return a verdict of not guilty, the evidence of concealment being insufficient. The charge against Gillingham of attempted murder is proceeding this afternoon, the Grand Jury having found a true bill.
