TE MAHANGA THOROUGHBRED SALE.

There was only a moderate attendance at the annual sale of Mr Douglas' stock of thoroughbreds, and only medium prices were obtained. A first-class luucheon was provided for visitors, to which ample justice was done. The total amount realised at the sale was £370, which is by no means up to previous records. With the exception of the bay gelding by Hiko —Parlor Maid, 2-year-old, the remainder of the entry were yearlings. The followare the sales :
