In the event of his marriage the £lOOO a year goes to the hero’s uncle. Symperson. When he proposes and becomes engaged, the keeper, Belvaw. ney, has ruin staring him in the face. On the other band the uncle is delighted. The Uncle has a beautiful daughter, Minnie, to provide for. Mie is a simple little thing, “as innocent as a new laid egg," and doesn t she second her fathers plans to get her a husband, and himself the £lOOO a year. Nobody who enjoys genuine fun should miss seeing this comedy. It is in three acts, and t ikes over two and a-half hours to perform.
