CLAIM UNDER FAMILY PROTECTION ACT SETTLED

A claim by Ronald Aldrian Mitchell against Felix Mathew Mitchell and others for provision by the plaintiff from deceased father’s estate, was settled in the Greymouth Supreme Court yesterday. Mr H. A. E. Maitland for the plaintiff, said a settlement had now been reached in terms of £l5O for Ronald Mitchell and £l5O for Roy Herbert Mitchell, with costs to each of £l3 2s 6d. The amount would come from the residuary estate, and the specific legacies would remain untouched. Messrs M. B. Scully and A. A. Craig for some of the defendants, and W. D. Taylor, for the executor and an infant, consented to the settlement. Mr Justice Fleming made the order accordingly.
