" AUCKLAND, Oct. 7. Within 28 days the Drivers’ Union organisation in the north, except Gisborne, will be one unit, provided the registrar gives effect to a postal ballot taken yesterday. By an overwhelming majority the members of the Auckland Driver’s Union and the Auckland Road Transport and Motoi- and Horse Drivers’ Union decided to amalgamate. The voting was 1139 for and 110 against. Thus the Auckland Drivers’ Union will be back to the posotion where it was before the cancellation of its registration in 1944,
