Tour by Schoolchildren

The Westport Rotary Club is again conducting the school children of the North, South and Technical Schools on a tour of inspection and education to the main institutions, tactories and ousiness houses in the town. They assembled yesterday morning at the Courthouse wnere Mr J. Pooley (Clerk ut the Court) gave the children a talk on the history, tunction and duties of the various courts. They then broke into groups which were placed in the charges of Rotarians and teachers and inspected the butter and whitebait factories, railway ana Marine Department workshops, also the stocking factory and various other concerns.

Finally they assembled at the Town Hall where the Mayor, Mr J. W. Robertson) and Cr C. R. Howard president or the Rotary Club, welcomed them and conducted them over the building.
