Magistrate’s Court
There were several traffic cases heard in the Magistrate’s Court before Mr ’i'. E. Maunseli, S.M., on Tuesday afternoon. Craddock’s Transport Ltd., on two charges of exceeding the maximum load were fined £1 and 10s cost on each charge. Southon Bros., were fined £2 and 12s costs for operating a lorry without a signalling apparatus. Andrew Geddes was fined £1 and 10s costs for failing to dim the lights of his car. William Wallace Mayars was fined £3 and 10s costs for driving along a main highway without reasonable consideration for other persons, and an offender was fined £2 and 10s costs for having inefficient brakes.
