Matinee Meeting
WESTPORT, Oct. 2
There was a good attendance at Patterson Park, Westport, this afteinoon when the Buller Owners’, Trainers’ and Breeders’ Association held a matinee meeting. The track was in good order and all racing was done about three sulkies out from the inside rail. Results: —
. Race One; one mile and a quarter. —Courageous 48yds bhd (W. R. L. Pascoe) 1; Gizera scr (E. Hollis) 2; Loyal Volo scr (A. C. Marr) 3. Half a length; long neck. Time 2.59 2-5. Race Two; one mile and a half. — Logan Fraser—Mayo Girl gelding scr (K. Powell) 1; Welcome Lady, scr, (C. White) 2; Dramatist, 84yds bhd (W. R. L. Pascoe) 3. Ten lengths; length and a half. Time 4.8. Race Three; one mile and a quarter. —Sea Pirate, 12yds bhd (C. Walsh) 1; Gizera, scr (E. Holland) 2; Coureagous, 60yds bhd (W. R. L. Pascoe) 3. Two lengths; length and a half. Time 2.57 1-5.
