(Rec. 9.50). FRANKFURT, October 2. A de-Nazification Court at Koenigstein found the 75-year-old steel magnate, Fritz Thyssen, guilty of being a minor Nazi offender. The Court confiscated 15 per cent, of his property. It was estimated, in 1946, at more than five million sterling. The confiscated part will he used in a restitution fund for Nazi persecutees. A German Court at Hamburg fined the German tobacco magnate, Philip, Reemisma, a quarter’ of a million sterling, or ten months’ imprisonment for bribing Marshall Goering to escape pre-war tax liability.
