Polish Army Men Now Found Work

(Rec. 5.30). LONDON, October 2. (N.Z.P.A.—REUTER CABLE)

The Eastern Command has announced 11,000 out of 18,000 officers and men in the Polish Resettlement Corps have been placed in employment, while another 5000 have returned to Poland. One thousand have emigrated to other countries. . The Resettlement Corps, which was established in 1946, ceased to exist yesterday. A few hundred of the remaining men have been transferred to camps in the Western Command.
