KUMARA NOTES

Mr R. Mills, junior champion of the Kumara Tennis Club, was farewelled last week by club members and supporters. He was thanked for his work for the club and presented with a razor. Supper was provided by the women’s committee. Mr and Mrs W. Murtha have returned to Wellington after visiting relatives in Kumara. Mr Norman Steel, of Kumara, is visiting relatives in Kumara. Mr R. Peters, who has been spending ■ a short holiday with his sister, Mrs R. James, has returned to Paekakariki.

Misses E. Duffy and C. Giles, of the Wellington Hospital staff, are spending their holidays in Kumara. They will return on Monday.
