N.Z. SQUASH RACQUETS CHAMPIONSHIPS
P.A. -TIMARU, Sept. 3 The Dominion squash racquets N.Z. championships began to-day, the highlight of the first round being the defeat of A. K. Malcolm, of Hamilton, a seeded plaver, by A. A. Mac Gibbon, of Palmerston North, who ranks fourth in his district. The title holder A. Johns (Palmerston North) had a comfortable win in the first round. The championships continue at the week-end, and conclude on Monday.
