AUCKLAND, Aug 10. “America ‘S coming to realise that Britain and tlm British Commonwealth form rhe only multilateral trade are in ilie world and is examining the effects of the dollar position with a view to helping out, said the Secretary to the Treasury, Mr B. C. Ashwin. on his return by Skymaster from Vancouver to-day after talks in London on the conversion, the loan dollar question and other matters. Mr Ashwin also talked with Amtrican and New Zealand officials in New York and Washington.
