U.N.O. COMMISSION CRITICISES BRITAIN’S LINE IN PALESTINE

NEW YORK, April 13.

The Palestine Commission to-day released a ueport it is submitting to the General Assembly, which meets on Friday. In this the commission strongly criticises Britain for an alleged lack of co-operation, and the committee has warned that, unless measures are taken immediately, Palestine will be thrown into chaos. The report also states: “Unless a truce is negotiated and is observed the ensuing weeks will witness an intensification of the struggle.” The commission said that a force of one thousand non-Jewish and nonArab police would 'be required, in addition to local Arab and Jewish police, to maintain order in Jerusalem. The commission would require at least one battalion for their own protection.
