More Money For U.S. Air Force
(Rec. 9.0) WASHINGTON, April 8 President Truman to-day requested the House of Appropriations Committee to appropriate 725 million dollars for the immediate expansion of the Air Force. This sum is part of an additional three thousand dollars winch , the administration wishes to spend on the military budget for the year beginning on July 1. The committee hopes to introduce the necessary Bill next week.
