KIWI CONCERT PARTY’S LONG RUN IN MELBOURNE
AUCKLAND, April 2 “The Kiwi concert party is the rage of Melbourne and the show’s run in that city has been phenomenal.” said Air P. Parsons, of Auckland, who returned by air from Sydney. In Melbourne he had seen a good deal of the party and was convinced that-the show had a great future. Now in its second year in Melbourne the party was presenting its third show, but its popularity showed no sign of diminishing. . , For instance, last week, with the temperature over 105 degress, the house was packed for a matinee performance, and crowds were waiting outside the theatre,” he said. Changes had occurred since the troupe was formed during the war but the cast was essentially the same. The snow would probably go to Sydney after Melbourne, hut there was little chance of it returning to New Zealand for some time. _____
