A. tearf month reports that during the past week 4 fair amount of business has been done in Beeftbn Stocks, principally in Justin-Time and Fiery Cross shares, the former advancing from 8s 6d and closing firm at 14s, and the latter risincj from 18s 6d and closing. at 24sj at Which price tbis market was cleared. The 1 great rise in Just-in-Time stock is accounted for-firstly, from the splendid yield the firsl; •rUshmghas realised, 1760 ounces from 308 ■tons of stone; and, secondly, that they have got the Fiery' Cross reef in the claim, showing a thickness of 2ft 6in, with good gold. The Fiery Cross are now busy crushing, with' an expected yield of 3oz to the ton. Other stocks have been slightly acied upon during the past week, piincipally Energetics, Wealth of Nations, an<l Larrys.
