THE Grey River Argus PUBLISHED DAILY. TUESDAY. NOVEMBER 18, 1873.
It is a highly significant fact, in connection with Mr O'Conor's candidature, that Mr Shephard, the late Provincial Treasurer of Nelson, who parted with the present Superintendent on anything but friendly terms, and who but for family reasons would have opposed him, has declared that he intends to vote for Mr Curtis. Mr Shephard would undoubtedly never have come to this determination had not his experience in the Council and in the House of Representatives convinced him that he has no alternative.
