[PROM OUE OWN CORRESPONDENT. J ANNEXATION BILL WITHDRAWN Wellington, Nov. 9. In consequence of the great delay of Government business and the impossibility of getting the Annexation Bill through this session, Mr Harrison had consbnted to its withdrawal. Mr Gisborne will explain to the House that the Government much regret to do so, and will re-introduce it at the commencement of next session. Mr Harrison will, however, go on with his resolution for the withdrawal of the delegated powers from the Superintendent of Nelson and the County Chairman. To-day Mr Harrison drew the attention* of the Government to the necessity of Government assuming the disposal of all the Coal Fields. The Minister of Public Works promised to give the matter attention, more particularly with regard to the Grey Coal Fields. .',... j The Government intend making a Rurvey and estimate of a railway from the Grey to Boss to submit to the HHoves c next session. The Board of Works was struck out of the Public Works Bill last night. The Railways Bill is in Committee. All the railways in the schedule are passed so far. The House only adjourned at 3.30 a.m. The Coal Field Railways come on today. There is no opposition to them.
