. The repeal agitation and discussion continues in Nova Scotia. A terrific gale passed over Halifax on the night of the 7th. About 30 vessels were damaged in harbor. ■ "Whalen, the Fenian assassin, has been respited to the 29th inst. ' In consequence of the ministerial changes in England—Sir p. E. Oartier return to Canada, and make another trip^^Jl^^jJ session of Dominion Parliament to settle the negotiations connected with the acquisition of the North-West Territory.
