The 64th annual meeting' of the British and Foreign Bible Society took place on May 6, at Exeter Hall, and was, as usual, very numerously attended. The chair was taken by the Earl of Shaftesbury. The report said the receipts from ordinary sources for the year ending March SI, 1868, have reached the sum of £179,718, being £7794 in advance of the previous year. The expenditure for the year amounted to £200,879. The issues of the society for the year are from depots abroad, 1,048,787 ; from the home depots 1,35], 989 copies; total, 2,400,776 copies. The tola 1 issues of the society now amount to 55,069,865 copies.
