Sheridan, W. Lucas, J. Walker, T. Fife. The third eleven against the Merivale second eleven, on the St. Albans ground, on Saturday next: —G. Lucas, G. Hessel, W. Dunmill, E. Smith, A. Hobbs, W. Dunn, E. Coleman, H. Davis, A. Dunlop, F. Nott, W. Moss. The following will represent the Lyttelton C.C. second eleven in the match against the second eleven of the Woolston C.C. on Saturday next, at Heathcote, viz.: —Messrs A. McWilliams, McGuire, Bennington, Griffiths, Haydon, C. Willeox (captain), Dailey, Birch, N. Galbraith, E. Seymour, J. Galbraith ; emergency, Lewin. Players to proceed by 12.40 p.m. train. Any of the above not able to attend to notify secretary on or before Friday next.
The following wall represent the Papanui C.C. in their match with the Second Eleven U.C.C.C. on Saturday next and the following Saturday, on the ground of the latter — Eov. F. G. Brittan, Messrs Bell, McGeaehie, W. Horner, J. Horner, G. Horner, Eow, Whiting, Paul, Haskins, Whitfield, and Ward.
The following will represent the Lyttelton Cricket Club against the Gebbie’s Valley Cricket Club on Boxing Day : Messrs Dawe, Eogers, Mitchell (captain), Seymour, E. J. McWilliams, O. Bradley, Grubb, Wright, Williams, M. Brown, E. Seymour; emergency, W. Willeox. Players to proceed by coach from Mitre Hotel at 7.30 a.m. on Boxing Day. The following will represent the Oxford Cricket Club in their match against Lancaster Park C.C. on Saturday next and the following Saturday, at Lancaster Park : A. Hardie (captain). T. Harvey, J. Beckett, W. Cavanagh, F. Gee, T. Marr, J. Parkyn, B. Empson, J. Butler, Simpson, Stapleton and McCleary; emergencies, Evans and "West. Play to commence at 2.15 sharp.
