Loan and Mercantile Agency Company shows that during the week the wool catalogues have been fair, comprising 1700 bales, principally small lots, though there have been one or, two larger clip 3. There has been a large attendance of buyers, with brisk competition, and 150 bales have been sold. Sound merinos and fine crossbreds have been very firm, but lower grades were slightly irregular. ■ 114 bales of well grown combino- wool, from Western Australia, realised Is OJdj fifteen bales from the Murray fetched Is Id; while Is ojd was bid for
eighty-two bales of fine crossbreds from the Western district. For forty-two. bales of scoured superior combing, Is 10 J d was obtained. ; Received November 10th, 1.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, November 10. Arrived, last evening—Orient Steamship Garonne from Plymouth (September 26th) via Aden.
