The Wanganui Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Annual Show was held; to-day. The weather was fine, and a large number of visitor® from all parts of the coast were present. The exhibits in numbers showed a slight falling off, but the quality of the stock of all descriptions showed a great improvement, horses and cattle in particular. In thoroughbreds entries Hippocampus, the property of Mrs W. Walters, of Auckland, gained the first and the champion pries, also a silver cup for being the best blood entire on the ground. Oapapie, the property of the Auckland Stud Company, was second. Patriarch, Dilke, and Barbarian were also exhibited. The champion prize for Clydesdale stallions was gained by Mr W. Craig’s Sir Bobert Bruce. The champion prise for pure bulls was awarded to Sir Hercules, bred by Messrs Manor, McLean and Go., Penrose, Auckland, and now the property of Messrs Arnndel and Boss.
