The jury believed the prisoner thought the marriage was null and void when he oontraoted the second marriage. The Judge reserved decision. DUNEDIN, Ootober 3. In the case of the lads Williamson and Ahem, charged with burglariously entering several offices in town, the Crown case rested entirely on the unsupported testimony of an accomplice named Jones, who yesterday pleaded guilty. The Judge direoted the jury to acquit the prisoners, which was done. Mcintosh's Hotel, at Blaok's, wan burnt down on Sunday. The lose is estimated at £I2OO. The hotel was insured for £SOO in the Colonial. In the Supremo Court, John Mason and James Hartley, for robbery from the person, were sentenced to six months, snd John -Madden, to three years. Mr Stout wi»hed Msßon's case to be reserved for the Appeal Court, as he oontended that a case of Bimple larceny had been made out, but tho Judge held that there was sufficient evidence to support the indictment.
