A fire occurred at Lawler'a bedding factory in George street last night, resulting in the complete destruction of the premises, and death of a woman who was sleeping there. The coal lumpers employed on the Sydney whares are demanding threepence per hoar advance of wages, and a strike is feared to be imminent.
