I FEB FBBBS ASSOCIATION. J WELLINGTON, September 6, The stewards of the Wellington Racing Olnb have decided to hold a spring meeting on St. Andrew’* Day, the 30th of November. The amount of prize money will be about £3OO, and included iu the programme is a trotting race. DUNEDIN, September 7. The Dunedin Presbytery, by six votes to three, have carried a resolution asking the Synod to enjoin miniiters not to perform or countenance marriages with a deceased wife’s slater. The Cromwell Company last week ernehed 70 tone, yielding 158 ounces of amalgam. A 400-ounce cake for the month ia expected. INVERCARGILL, September 7. The Football Club have accepted the offer of the Sydney team now in Auckland to visit Invercargill on tho 26th inst.
