Buyers are, as a rule, vr ell supplied —wi'jh stocks, and appear unwilling to increase them. Orders from intercolonial ports could not be executed except at full rates. Wheat—Milling samples, of good quality, 4s lOd to 53 per buahel, f.0.b.; second quality, 4a 3d to 4s b'd per bushel; chick wheat, 3s 3d to 4s per bushel, f.o.b. i seed parcels, 5a 3d to 5a 6d per buahel. kOata— Good short milling, 3a 2d to 3a 3d per oahel, f.o b.; feed, 3s to 3a 2d, f.o.b. Barley—Prime malting is in good demand rom 4a 7d to 4a lOd per bushel; second class malting is almost entirely negleoted, prices nominal; feed parcels, 3a 3d to 3a 6d f.o.b. Potatoes—No change haa taken place in the market during the past week, business haa been of the most restricted character; last week's quotations must be repeated, 35s to 33s _at country stations within ten miles of Christohuroh. Cheese and Butter—7d to 7sd per lb for the former, la Id for the latter. Grasa Seed —Well cleaned samples, 5a 3d to 5a 9d per bushel; cocksfoot, sidto 5Jd per lb.
