COURSING.
PAPANUI COUE9ING CLUB, Second Meeting. The nomination and draw for the second meeting of this club took place at Wild’s Sawyers’ Arms Hotel, Papanui, last night, a very poor entry resulting, viz, sir for the Members’ Plate for all aged dogs, and twelve puppies for the St. Leger. A start will be made from the Yaldhurst Hotel about nine o’clock this morning for Mr Saunders’ property, where the meeting takes place. Mr J. Turner, as usual, is judge j Mr J. Spooner, slipper. The following is the draw for both events: — Members’ Plate, for an unlimited number of all aged dogs, at £4 4s, divided as follows : —First dog, .£ls; runner up, £7 ; third dog, £3. Mr E. S. B.
