Ho had been suffering for some time from acute neuralgia. A nugget, weighing 17> z? 3:lwts, has been found in Rucky River, Colling »rood, and there it no quartz visible in it. Good gold is reported as beiDg got at Dfuggen's Flat, Collingwood.

The criminal sessions are postponed till July 17th, in conssqueuoe of [Judge Williams proceeding first to G'bristohurch. INVEROARGILL, June 22.
At the Supreme Court this morning Alfred Harper, for unlawful wounding, wp.b sontenoad to twelve months' imprisonment with hard labour ; and Stepbon Walsb, for passing a valueless cheque, six months. BLENHEIM, June 22.
The crew of tho Wtstport have not yet arrived, but are hourly expected. A telegram received at noon to-day, states that the crow of the vessel, being unable to keep her afloat, brought to anohorin Flaxbourne roadstead, and landed in boats on Tuesday night. The Westport sank during the night.
