STABBING CASE.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION TBLBGBAM.] O AMARU, June 16.

At about 11.30 last night a fraeas occurred between two men named McGrath and Moynahan, during which the latter, it is alleged, stabbed the former in the region of the abdomen. The injury to McGrath is of such a nature that it was deemed advisable to take his deposition. This was done by Mr Robinson, 8.M., this afternoon. McGrath now lies in a critical state. McGrath, in his evidence, says he does not know how the injury to himself occurred. The two men had been drinking, and during a row in the street he found he had been stabbed, but did not know whether it was done intentionally or by accident. Moynihan was arrested, and has been remanded for seven days.
