| PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. I DUNEDIN, June 2. A eevon-roomed house at Cromwell, belonging to Mr Purcell, has been burned down. It was insured in the South British for £2CD. AUCKLAND, June 2. The Government have dismissed a firstclass detective named Farrell for fighting with a civilian at the Thames. Farrell has been a policeman for thirty-four years. The City Council will take a poll on the question of admitting the suburbs to the city.
