ARRIVAL OF THE 'FRISCO MAIL.

Heavy storms and floods had occurred along tbe railway route, with wash outs of road bed, and interruption of telegraphic communication. GENERAL SUMMARY.. Fred. Father Feekin, priest of Rathdowney, Queen’s County, Ireland, having road at a meeting a paper purporting to be by the Bishop of Nevada, to the effect that had he been imprisoned as a suspect, he would have issued a manifesto calling the people to arms, instead of n-ging them to pay no rent, was put under b:nls for £4OO, or go to prison for six months. The tradesmen are closing their shops, although it is market day. Hygenio lectures for ladies are attracting attention in London. The race for the Liverpool Spring Onp on the 25th ultimo was won by the American bred horse WaTenstein, Valour second, Dreamland bad third. The “ Levant Herald,” at Constantinople, has been suppressed. Emigration to America from the Clyde will be large this season. Bara Bernhardt is so frequently cllliclei with toemorrage of the lungs chat she has to forego acting.
