CANTERBURY CLUB
The nominations for the Canterbury Darby and Oiks were partially filled last night ; but it was decided to hold the list over till tomorrow, as it is known that some Southern dogs will be nominated, the letter covering which was not received last evening. At present eighteen dogs have been nominated for the Derby and seventeen for the Oaks. OAMABU MEETING. OAMARU, April 17. The following nominations for the North. Otago Club’s Derby were received to-night:— Mr Hanning’s Titania, Mr Gemmett’s Psyche, Mr Bass’s Youns Chester, Messrs M’Caulay Bros.’ Mermaid, Mr Oliver’s Royal Maid, Mr Roberta’ Patience, Mr Allen’s England’s Glory, Mr Dathie’s Rising Star, Mr Dnthie’s Jack the Lad, Mr Duthie’s Britannia, Mr Dmmm’a Keigning Star, Mr Drnmm’s Hinda, Mr McDonald’s Four Nominations, Mr Thomson’s Aura, Mr Thomson’s Wharfdale, Messrs Eeid Bros.’ Raupo, Messrs Keid Bros.’ Henga, Mr Eonayne’s Morning Glory.
