Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following- places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — WEDNESDAY, APEIL 19. For Australian Colonies, per express (to connect with s.s, Arawata), at 7 a.m. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 11.30 a.m.; late fee letters at 11.40 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Wauganni, Patoa and New Plymouth, per St. Kilda, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, APEIL 20. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, at 4.45 p.m.; late fee letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 5.25 p.m. train. SATURDAY, APEIL 22. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies. Cape of Good Hope, Natal (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands and Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., per Hawea, as follows; Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m. money orders at 3 p.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.10 p.m. train. This mail will be due in Loudon on Juue 4th.
