BAPTIST CHURCH BAZAAR.

Scarcely has the bazaar hold by the Catholics in aid of the funds of the Convent been decently interred, than another b.zaar (which like its predecessor threatens a three-days’ existence) springs into being. The Oddfellows’ Hall, Lichfield street, wes a busy scene this morning from an early hour, and at noon the bazaar in aid of the funds of the new Baptist Church now in course of erection in Oxford terrace, near the Madras street bridge, was opened, with a brief devotional exercise and address by the Eev. C. Dallaston. After this the business proper of the bazaar commenced. On entering the ha 1 a Cnnstmas tree is seen in the centre laden with juvenile delights—bonbons, crackers, lacky bags, dolls, dolls’ apparel, &c., being fully displayed thereon. In the centra of the hall is seen a large stand, filled with a collection of flowering and pot plants in every stage of growth. Four stalls are arranged on either side of the hall. The first of those, on the right band, is called the Sunday-school stall, and is liberally laden by ths contributions of teachers and scholars. The other stalls are also arrayed with a bewildering assortment of everything r; qnired in a household so far as babies’ apparel, b isinets, toys, dolls, and the thousand and one other accessories of biziara or households where juveniles do congregate. Singing birds in cages, h nging baskets of vegetation, and Chinese lanterns are also to be seen, and in the room at the rear of the hall a collection of oil paintings, engravings, and other works r, f art ferm a most creditable picture gallery. The utmost care has been taken that no lack of refreshments shall result, as, in addition to a ref; eahrr.ent stall in the hall,

another apartment has been arranged for a like purpose off the stage, the decoration of which was precisely the same as at the late Catholic Bazaar. The Bazaar will be open till ton o’clock this evening.
