The Regatta took place in Hobson’s Bay this afternoon, when the crews from the English, French, and Russian men-of-war competed in several events. The Russians were beaten in every contest. SYDNEY, February 12. The Intercolonial Match-
The cricket match, Victoria v NewSouth Wales, was continued to-day. The latter resumed their first innings, and again remained at the wickets until stumps were drawn, when they had put together 640 runs for the loss of only sis wickets. Murdoch scored 321, S. Jones is not out for 109, and Garrett not out for 75. At the close of the day’s play Murdoch was presented with 100 guineas, which had been subscribed upon the ground.
