[Br Thihqraph/J CAMBRIDGE, January 31. Tho match between the All England Eleven and a Waikato Twenty-two was commenced to-day. The latter went to the wiokets first, and scored 44. The Eleven were not in good form, and in their first innings soored 84; of this number Bates made 47, five having failed to score. The Waikatos then went to the wiokets, and on the stumps being drawn at six o'clock, had put together 57. The matoh resulted in favor of the Eleven on the first innings. It is estimated that there were about 1200 people present. The match with the Auckland team takes place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
