They may be relied on, however, as approximating to the current odds :—Salvage was made strong favorite, and the best o ffer against him was'loo to 50 Lady Emma was next in favor at 100 to 25. Fleur de Lys found support at 100 to 20. King Quail's and the Poet's prices are about the same, and against Sir George and Hilda 100 to 15 was obtainable. Mr Walters' p-n'r were not fancied, and 100 to 10 against either found no response. Louis d'Or may be nominally quoted at 100 to 6, with no backers, in his starting is doubtful. The following acoeptanoes were received to-night:— Hurdle Handicap (Firßt Day).—Agent, Clarence, General, Totara, and Scrutineer. Plying Stakes Handicap —Somnus, Luna, Mischief, Fleur de Lya, and Magnolia.

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Mr Stead's new acquisitions, Apremont (brother to and a beautifully-bred two year-old filly, purchased by the above gentleman in England when a yearling. She is sired by New Holland (a young stallion by Young Melbourne out of Bounce-away), her dam Albania by St. Albans (son of Stock well). from Cantine (maternal grand dam of Bal Gal and Dutoh Oven) by Orlando from Voltigeur's sister, Vivandiere, by Voltaire. The horses came on by train on Saturday as far bs Hornby, and were thenoe taken to Russley.
