Plummer was brought up at the Police Court and remanded to Friday, when it is understood that two cases of sending threatening letters and three oharges of burglary will be proceeded with. An Accident.

Mr Godso, a contractor, was drowned today by falling off the railway bridge crossing a portion of the harbor at Pelichet Bay. Another Embezzler.

Henry Beveridge Mcintosh, lately manager of the Walton Park Coal Company, was committed for trial to-day on two oharges of embezzlement. Other charges are pending. Customs Seizure.

The Customs officers seized some goods on to-day on the wharf, in regard to whioh it was alleged that the owners gave an under estimate of value.
