AUCKLAND, October 12. The Lost Tribes. An Anglo-Israel Association was formed here last night. Supreme CourtAt the civil sessions of the Supreme Court yesterday the cue of Campbell v Hosio was heard. It was an action to recover a mining claim at Owharoa, which plaintiff averred ho had sold to desendant on a fale representation, and shortly after tho sale tho claim became of great value. The jury found a verdict for defendant on all the issues. WELLINGTON, October 12. The Late Boiler Explosion. In tho Supreme Court tho case of Simpson, for wilfully frstening down the safety valve of a boiler, is proceeding. The Premier’s Return. The Hon. W. Rolleiton and tho Premier returned to-day. DUNEDIN, October 12. ElectoralMr J. Upton Davis is announced as a candidate for Dunedin East.
