fPBB PBKBB ASSOCIATION.} NEW PLYMOUTH, August 31. The Native Difficulty. The " Herald's" Rahotu correspondent has just telegraphed that the Maoriß a:e to fence near 'Xe Parapara. Tho Constabulary at Rahotu and at Pungarehu are under orders to hold themselves in roadinoss for immediate aotion. Mounted patrols have te:n out daiiy for the last fortnight. Yesterday about sixty Maoris made an attompt to stop an Armed Constabulary party from taking firewood, but, after a long kor?ro, tho Natives retired growling. OTAKI, Auguet 31. Fatal Accident. An acciient occurred here yesterday to the daughter of tho Rer. James McWilliams, by which she lost her life. Her father was unloading a cart, and by iomo unknown cause the blinkers came off tho horse, which caused it to bolt. The wheel of tho cart passed over the nook of the child, who was playing in the yard, causing hor death almost immediately afterwards.
