The Customs duties collected at Cliristchurch Thursday, March 33th, were as follows ; —Spirits, £2r\-i Ills lid ; tobacco, £l*l7 8s ; wine, £OO Os 6d ; sugar, £3 17s Id ; tea, £53 13s Id; ad valorem, £i 7a ; other duties, £o*3 0 s ; total, £057 3s sd.
At the nsual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, hold at Christchurch on Thursday, March 2-lth, sales wore made as follows:—Ashley, 91a 3r 25p; Solwyn, 58a Or iOp; Akaroa, 48a; Ashburton, 103 a 3r 37 p ; Geraldine, 38a 2r 13p ; village settlements, deferred payments, la ; total acreage sold, 331 a 2r 13p ; total value, £OOO 3s 3d. Refunds on account of former purchases were made in the sum of £3OO Is 3d.
