MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, MARCH 2G. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &0., per Stella, as follows : —Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; hooks and newspapers, at 6 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. j registered letters, at 5 p.m, ; guard’s vau, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on May 10th. TUESDAY, MARCH 20. For Northern Port and Fiji Islands, per Wanaka, at 1.40 p.m.; lata lec letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s ran, 2.3 > p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Te Anan, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van. 2.30 p.m. train. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postingstor.
