A oab, driven by one Keys, and containing O. Armstrong, publican, Harry Mayo, publican, and Messrs Lyons, Fairbairn, and Griffiths, was crossing the line about half-past eight, when a goods train from the South came up. The engine driver whistled, but the cab did not get ont of the way. The horse was killed and the vehicle damaged, but the driver was unhurt. Mayo is not expected to live. The others are more or lest injured.
