Mauritius advices to the 29th instant state that engagements of sugar for Dunedin amount to 525 tons, and for Lyttelton 200 tons, and that there is a good demand. SYDNEY, February 24. Leichardt’s Relics. Skuthorpe’s brother telegraphs to Mr Dufaur that Mr Skuthorpo has declined to give even him any information regarding Leichardt’s relics. His brother further expresses a doubt as to the bona Jides of the discovery. Oold. Later acconnts confirm the previous reports of the hopeful prospect of the goldfield at Mount Pool, in the Grey ranges, on the western border, but, at the same time, it is said to be a somewhat risky route to the ranges, is short of water, and rushers to the field must have means.
