[ekutee’s telegrams.] LONDON, February 22. Interesting to Iron Dealers. Galvanized iron, 26in. guage, is quoted at £l7. Wool. At the wool sales to-day, 6600 bales were catalogued. The tone of the sale was rather firmer for low qualities. Significant. Dr McOahe, formerly editor of a Catholic paper iu Ireland, and at present a contributor to several reviews, has issued a letter, in which he stigmatises the alliance between Mr Parnell and M. Rochefort as impious, and urges that the Catholic party can feel no confidence in Mr Parnell. LONDON, February 23. The Irish Difficulty. The “ Daily News ” of to-day publishes information to the effect that the magazine at Cork has been broken into, and that a large quantity of gunpowder has been taken away. BOMBAY, February 22. Indian NewsNews has been received from Kolaporo that the natives who were arrested on the charge of plotting against the lives of the European residents have been found guilty, and have been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
