Owing to the difficulty in procuring news of the Conference the "Herald” strong complaint this morning, and says it seems curious that the representative of the Melbourne Press should gain information of the proceedings of the Conference which was sternly denied to the Sydney Press. QUEENSLAND, January 21. A case of criminal libel, Senthnrpe v the editor of the “ Western Champion,” was coneluded on Thursday. The editor was committed for trial at the April Session at Rockhampton.
